    Artificial intelligence (AI) and technology

The AI and technology series is primarily concerned with the social impact of emerging technologies. In a relatively short space of time, our reliance on technology has reached a point where robots are increasingly a normal part of our everyday lives. However, while huge sums of money are being invested in developing the technologies to what extent are we thinking about the ethical and societal ramifications that these advances bring in a range of areas? Are we in danger of losing sight of what makes us human?
