Plastic ocean: completed underpainting

8.3billion tonnes of plastic has been produced since the 50s with the majority ending up in landfill or polluting the world’s continents and oceans. With production expected to accelerate over the coming decades, it is rapidly creating an environmental crisis. The underpainting is now complete, so I now have to leave this to dry for several months before applying a varnish. Applying an array of plastic materials, will be the 'finishing touch'.
